Kerala Class 10 Board Exam 2026 from March 5: SSLC, Plus One, Plus Two Dates Announced

The Kerala government has officially announced the dates for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary (Plus One and Plus Two) board examinations for the 2025–26 academic session.

According to General Education Minister V. Sivankutty, the Kerala SSLC 2026 exams will commence on March 5 and conclude on March 30, with results expected to be released by May 8, 2026.

More than 4.25 lakh students will appear for the Class 10 board exams, while around nine lakh students are set to take the Plus One and Plus Two public examinations across Kerala.


Kerala SSLC 2026 Exam Schedule

The SSLC exams will be conducted at nearly 3,000 examination centres across the state, including seven centres in Gulf countries and nine in Lakshadweep to accommodate overseas students.

The evaluation process will take place between April 7 and April 25, 2026, and the results will be declared by May 8.

In the 2025 academic session, Kerala achieved a remarkable 99.5% pass percentage, with Kannur district topping the charts at 99.87%, followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 98.59%. Out of 4,27,021 students, 4,24,583 passed successfully, and 61,449 earned A+ grades in all subjects. Moreover, 2,331 schools recorded 100% pass results.


Plus One and Plus Two Exam Dates 2026

The Higher Secondary (Plus One and Plus Two) and Vocational Higher Secondary exams will also begin in March 2026.

  • Plus One (Class 11): March 5 to March 27, 2026

  • Plus Two (Class 12): March 6 to March 28, 2026

The evaluation for both streams will begin on April 6, 2026.


Pass Criteria for Kerala Board Exams 2026

To qualify in the Kerala Class 10, 11, and 12 board examinations, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in the overall aggregate.

With the timetable announced early, students can now plan their exam preparation strategically. Kerala continues to lead in public education quality, and the upcoming 2026 board exams are expected to uphold the state’s strong record of academic excellence.
