Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan Evicts Ashnoor Kaur After Violent Clash With Tanya Mittal

In a dramatic Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Ashnoor Kaur was evicted from Bigg Boss 19 just a week before the grand finale. The eviction came after a serious incident during the ticket to finale task, where Ashnoor struck Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank, leading the makers to enforce an immediate exit on grounds of physical aggression.

Host Salman Khan addressed the matter strongly. During the confrontation, Ashnoor insisted she never intended to hurt Tanya, but Salman presented video evidence that suggested the act was driven by anger, not an accident. The showrunners concluded that the severity of the incident warranted her removal.

Following the announcement, Ashnoor broke down emotionally, saying she didn’t believe Tanya was hurt and didn’t want to leave the show. Tanya, while acknowledging Ashnoor’s mistake, expressed that eviction might have been too harsh.

Contestant Gaurav Khanna reminded Ashnoor that she should have listened to his earlier warnings. Salman also used the moment to debunk the recurring myth that physical altercations help contestants progress in the show, stressing that Bigg Boss does not tolerate violence.

Ashnoor’s journey had been widely discussed this season, with viewers linking her equation with Abhishek Bajaj. Although they described their bond as friendship, their dynamic often became a talking point inside the house. Earlier, Pranit More had chosen Ashnoor over Abhishek as a more deserving contestant, leading to Abhishek’s eviction—a decision that drew criticism from contestants, Salman, and viewers alike.

During family week, Ashnoor’s father had urged her to stand up against issues like body shaming by Tanya, Neelam Giri, and Kunickaa Sadanand. This advice was believed to have contributed to her heightened aggression leading up to the incident.

The episode also saw Salman sharing condolences for the late actor Dharmendra, and expressing that he did not wish to host the episode due to ongoing tensions inside and outside the house.

Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
