NTA Launches Pariksha Karmayogi Programme to Train NEET, Exam Officials Nationwide

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated digital training initiative called Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Officials on the Government of India's iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform. The programme aims to strengthen the supervision, invigilation, and overall conduct of major national examinations, including NEET (UG).

The initiative is designed primarily for Centre Superintendents and Invigilators involved in conducting NTA examinations. Through standardized digital training, NTA seeks to enhance fairness, transparency, procedural compliance, and accountability at examination centres across the country.

Four-Module Training Structure

The Pariksha Karmayogi Programme consists of four modules covering the complete examination lifecycle.

Module 1: Role and Responsibilities

The first module introduces examination functionaries to their responsibilities in ensuring fairness, transparency, and integrity during examinations.

Module 2: Pre-Examination Preparedness

This module focuses on examination centre readiness, security arrangements, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) before the examination begins.

Module 3: Examination-Day Operations

The third module covers all activities on examination day, including:

  • Before the examination
  • Beginning of the examination
  • During the examination
  • After the examination

The module aims to ensure that officials follow a uniform process across all centres.

Module 4: Quick Reference Guide

The final module serves as a concise guide summarizing key instructions, responsibilities, and procedures for examination personnel.

Self-Paced Learning and Certification

Hosted on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform, the programme offers self-paced learning along with assessment-based certification. This allows examination personnel across India to receive uniform training and demonstrate competency through certification.

NTA believes that well-trained examination staff are essential for conducting large-scale national examinations smoothly and fairly. The programme is expected to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the integrity of the examination process.

Strengthening India's Examination Ecosystem

According to NTA, the initiative reflects its continued commitment to leveraging technology-driven capacity building to improve examination administration. By establishing standardized training and certification mechanisms, the agency aims to create a more reliable and transparent examination ecosystem nationwide.

The launch comes as part of broader efforts to ensure that national-level examinations are conducted with consistency, professionalism, and accountability across all examination centres.

About the Initiative

The Pariksha Karmayogi Programme is available on the Government of India's iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform and is intended for examination officials involved in NTA-conducted examinations, including NEET (UG). The programme combines digital learning, operational guidance, and certification to enhance the quality of examination administration nationwide.
