AIAPGET 2026 Re-Exam Announced for 49 Candidates After Power Failure at Jaipur Centre

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for 49 candidates who were unable to complete the AIAPGET 2026 examination after a power failure disrupted the test at a Jaipur centre.

The AIAPGET examination was conducted in Shift-I on August 22, 2026, for 36,979 registered candidates across the country. According to the NTA, 35,837 candidates appeared for the examination at 200 centres, while 35,788 candidates successfully completed the test.

Power Failure Disrupts AIAPGET Exam in Jaipur

The disruption occurred at the Shri Satya Sai PG College examination centre in Jaipur, where 192 candidates appeared for the AIAPGET examination.

Out of these candidates, 49 were unable to complete their examination due to a power failure at the centre. The NTA attributed the disruption to M/S Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the agency responsible for conducting the examination.

The agency expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the affected candidates.

AIAPGET 2026 Re-Exam on September 1

The NTA has confirmed that the re-examination for all 49 affected candidates will be conducted on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur

Eligible candidates will receive further information through a revised AIAPGET admit card.
