The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially released the UP Police SI Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the Sub Inspector recruitment examination. Applicants who successfully submitted their forms can now download their admit cards from the official portal.
The UP Police Sub Inspector examination is scheduled to be conducted on March 14 and March 15, 2026. Candidates must carry their admit cards along with a valid identity proof to the examination centre on the day of the test.
The admit card was released on March 11, 2026, and candidates can access it by logging into the recruitment portal using their registration number, enrollment number, or date of birth.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 4,543 vacancies across different positions within the Uttar Pradesh Police department. These include posts for Sub Inspector in Civil Police as well as Platoon Commander roles.
The recruitment notification was originally released in March 2025, and the application process was conducted between August 12 and September 11, 2025.

The recruitment includes the following positions:
Sub Inspector (Civil Police): 4,242 posts
Sub Inspector (Civil Police – Female): 106 posts
Platoon Commander / Sub Inspector (Civil Police): 135 posts
SI / Platoon Commander (Special Security Force): 60 posts
To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification approved by the government.
Applicants are also required to upload their graduation mark sheets while applying. During document verification, candidates must present the original degree certificate along with supporting documents.
Some additional qualifications, though not mandatory, may provide preference during selection. These include certifications such as the NIELIT “O” Level computer course, service in the Territorial Army, or an NCC “B” certificate.
Candidates will go through several stages of selection, including:
Written Examination
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Document Verification
Medical Examination
For male candidates, the physical standard test requires a minimum height of 168 cm for general categories and 160 cm for ST candidates. Chest measurement requirements are also specified in the official notification.
Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm for general categories and 147 cm for ST candidates, along with a minimum weight of 40 kg.
In the physical efficiency test, male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must run 2.4 km within 16 minutes.
