The primary market is set for fresh activity next week as Fractal Analytics and Aye Finance prepare to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs) on February 9. The two offerings represent distinct sectors — artificial intelligence-driven analytics and small-business lending — attracting attention from investors seeking diversification across technology and financial services.
Fractal Analytics is planning to raise approximately Rs 2,833.90 crore through a book-built issue. The IPO comprises a fresh issue worth Rs 1,023.50 crore along with an offer for sale of Rs 1,810.40 crore by existing shareholders. Established in 2000, the company specialises in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics solutions that help enterprises make data-driven decisions. Its services combine machine learning, data engineering, and domain expertise across multiple industries.
The price band for the Fractal Analytics IPO has been set between Rs 857 and Rs 900 per share. Investors can apply in a minimum lot size of 16 shares, translating to an investment of Rs 14,400 at the upper end of the price range. Market observers have noted a positive grey market trend, with a reported premium suggesting potential listing gains, although unofficial indicators like grey market premiums do not guarantee actual performance.
Meanwhile, Aye Finance aims to raise Rs 1,010 crore through its IPO, which includes a fresh issue of Rs 710 crore and an offer for sale worth Rs 300 crore. The company operates as a non-banking financial institution focused on providing credit to micro and small enterprises. Its lending portfolio supports businesses across sectors such as manufacturing, trading, services, and allied agriculture, catering to working capital and expansion needs.
The IPO price band for Aye Finance has been fixed at Rs 122 to Rs 129 per share, with a lot size of 116 shares. Retail investors will need to invest at least Rs 14,964 at the upper price band to participate. Current grey market activity suggests a neutral outlook for the listing, though market conditions could shift as subscription data emerges during the bidding period.
Both IPOs will open for subscription on February 9 and close on February 11, with allotments expected to be finalised on February 12. Shares of both companies are anticipated to debut on the stock exchanges around February 16, subject to regulatory approvals and market conditions.
Market experts advise investors to evaluate each offering carefully rather than relying solely on grey market trends. Key factors to consider include financial performance, growth potential, sector outlook, and how the investment aligns with individual risk appetite. While Fractal Analytics provides exposure to high-growth artificial intelligence services, Aye Finance offers access to the expanding micro-enterprise lending ecosystem, giving investors two very different opportunities within the same IPO window.
