Asrani Death: Salman Khan, Hema Malini Pay Tribute to Bollywood Legend

Veteran actor and comedian Govardhan Asrani, widely celebrated for his comic timing and memorable roles in Indian cinema, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 84. He died at Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, after a brief five-day hospitalization due to health complications. His demise has left the Bollywood fraternity and fans in deep mourning.

Legendary actress Hema Malini, who shared screen space with Asrani in multiple films, expressed her grief on social media. She wrote, “We have lost one more gem of an actor.
