‘They Call Him OG’ Director Sujeeth Denies Rift with Producer DVV Danayya

Director Sujeeth has publicly addressed speculation about a supposed rift with producer DVV Danayya during the making of their film They Call Him OG. On Wednesday, Sujeeth refuted the rumours, underlining the mutual respect shared between the filmmaker and his producer throughout the production process. The clarification comes amid growing attention from fans and industry observers.

The controversy around a potential disagreement began circulating online without clear details on its origin. Responding for the first time, Sujeeth highlighted the importance of professionalism and commitment in filmmaking. “A lot is being said, but very few truly understand what it takes to carry a film from start to finish. The belief and strength my producer and team showed for OG can't be put into words. That's what gives this film its strength,” he stated.

Sujeeth added, “It hasn't been easy for anyone, but every bit of effort came from a place of commitment. Let's keep the process respected. The love and madness shown by fans for Pawan Kalyan garu & OG make it all feel meaningful. Grateful to Danayya garu for his constant support and belief.”

At present, neither Sujeeth nor DVV Danayya has offered further comments regarding their working relationship or the specific origins of the rumours. No project delays or production setbacks have been reported, indicating that the film’s schedule and completion remain unaffected.

They Call Him OG, featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead, had been in production for several years. The film’s timeline was impacted by Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments, limiting his availability and causing delays. Despite these challenges, the movie released on September 25 and achieved a worldwide box office collection of approximately Rs 300 crore.

The director’s statement reinforces the value of professionalism, respect, and collaboration in the film industry, while also reassuring fans that the production and release of They Call Him OG proceeded smoothly despite persistent online speculation.
