Intruder Enters TVK Chief Vijay’s Neelankarai Residence, Apprehended by Police

An unknown man reportedly entered the residence of TVK chief Vijay in Neelankarai on Wednesday, prompting concerns over security.

A security guard noticed the 24-year-old man sitting on the terrace of Vijay’s home and immediately intervened, apprehending him before handing him over to the police.

Authorities stated that the intruder is mentally unstable and was staying with his aunt in Velachery. Following the incident, he was taken to a government shelter. Police have launched an investigation into how the man gained access to the residence.

This is not the first such incident in Tamil Nadu. In May, a mentally unstable individual entered the high-security Sulur Air Force Base in Coimbatore. He was detained by security personnel and handed to the police. Officials noted that the man was unresponsive for nearly a day, and investigations suggested he might be from Bihar.

An officer involved in the investigation said, “It looks like he is from Bihar. We have filed a CSR (community service register). He is not responding to Hindi, and we are now attempting to communicate through someone familiar with the Bihari dialect.”
