Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ continues its remarkable box office journey, surpassing Rs 350 crore in India and crossing Rs 500 crore worldwide. Entering its second week, the film regained momentum over the weekend, attracting packed audiences across all languages and regions.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 22 crore net on Day 9, slightly up from Rs 21.15 crore the previous day, taking its domestic total to Rs 359.40 crore net.

Strong Regional Performances

• Kannada version: Overall occupancy at 42.58%, rising from 14.87% in the morning to 67.77% at night. Bengaluru led with 972 shows at 40.50% occupancy. Smaller regions like Kundapura (84.25%) and Tumakuru (74.75%) saw impressive turnout.

• Telugu version: Averaged 24.99% occupancy, with Hyderabad at 27.75%. Vizag and Vijayawada maintained steady performance.

• Hindi version: 15.65% occupancy overall, with Mumbai leading in shows (755) and Delhi NCR at 13%. Multiplex audiences in Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad showed growing interest.

• Tamil version: 30.36% occupancy, led by Chennai (35.75%). Coimbatore, Madurai, and Trichy contributed steadily.

• Malayalam version: 28.10% occupancy overall, peaking at 53.23% at night, with strong numbers from Kochi, Kozhikode, and Thrissur.
