NIT Rourkela Placement 2025: 1274 Offers, Highest CTC ₹62.44 LPA

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela concluded its 2025 placement drive with remarkable success, recording a total of 1,274 placement offers. The highest CTC offered this year reached ₹62.44 lakh per annum, underlining the growing demand for NIT Rourkela graduates.

Recruiter Participation and Sectors
Around 373 recruiters participated in the placement drive, nearly 48% of them being first-time recruiters at NIT Rourkela. The majority of the recruiters hailed from the Software and IT Services sector, followed by Manufacturing, BFSI, Electronics, and Education sectors. Leading companies included Google, AMD, Qualcomm, Wells Fargo, JSW, Amazon, ExxonMobil, DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Barclays, Deloitte, MathWorks, ITC, Texas Instruments, American Express, HP, Bharat Petroleum, among others.

Roles and Opportunities
Students were offered a variety of roles, including Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Graduate Trainee Engineer, Data Analyst, and Business Analyst. Along with over 1,200 job offers, NIT Rourkela also secured 509 six-month internship offers, with the highest internship package at ₹1.26 lakh per month. Notably, more than 85 students received packages exceeding ₹30 LPA.

• B.Tech. Program: Average CTC ₹14.10 LPA
• M.Tech. Program: Average CTC ₹13.48 LPA
