PM Modi Launches ‘Pratibha Setu’ to Support UPSC Aspirants Who Narrowly Miss Final List

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the 125th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, announced the launch of a new digital platform, ‘Pratibha Setu’, aimed at supporting aspirants of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations who narrowly missed making it to the final merit list.

Addressing the nation, PM Modi described the UPSC exam as one of the toughest competitive tests in the country and praised the inspiring journeys of several toppers. He also acknowledged the efforts of aspirants who fall short of the final list despite hard work.

"There are thousands of such candidates who are very capable; their hard work is no less than anyone else's, but they are unable to reach the final list by a small margin. These candidates have to prepare afresh for other exams, which costs both time and money. That is why a digital platform has been created for such sincere students, and its name is ‘Pratibha Setu’," PM Modi said.

The platform will store data of candidates who cleared all stages of various UPSC exams but did not appear in the final merit list. According to the Prime Minister, the databank currently holds information on over 10,000 talented youth, which will be accessible for future opportunities.

Union Minister JP Nadda and BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, along with Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar, listened to the address from Mumbai and New Delhi.

The launch of Pratibha Setu is expected to provide recognition, mentorship, and access to career opportunities for aspirants who have narrowly missed the UPSC final selection, helping them continue their pursuit of public service.
