At the Global Fintech Festival (GFF) 2025, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer lauded India’s leadership in the global fintech arena, singling out Paytm as a standout innovator driving international expansion.

Addressing industry leaders, investors, and policymakers, Starmer said:

At the festival, Paytm also unveiled India’s first AI-powered Soundbox for payments, featuring:

  • Intelligent assistant supporting 11 local languages

  • Real-time payment insights and business analytics

  • Direct merchant interaction for efficient operations

This positions the Soundbox as an AI-driven business assistant, enhancing both merchant productivity and customer engagement.
