UPSC NDA Results 2025 Declared: What’s Next for Qualified Candidates

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the results of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA) II examination 2025, held on September 14. The list of successful candidates was released on October 1 and is now available on the UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is set to fill 402 vacancies across the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Candidates who have cleared the written examination are now eligible to proceed to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews for admission to the 156th NDA course and the 118th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), both scheduled to begin on July 2, 2026.

The SSB interview process is designed to evaluate leadership potential, decision-making ability, psychological fitness, and overall personality. Candidates who qualify at this stage, followed by a medical examination, will be considered for commissioning into the Indian Armed Forces.

UPSC has clarified that marks, cut-off scores, and answer keys will be published on its website only after the entire selection process concludes.

Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

  • Candidates must register on the Indian Army Recruiting website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of result declaration.

  • Those already registered do not need to re-apply.

  • SSB interview dates and venues will be communicated directly via email.

  • Candidates are required to present original certificates of age and educational qualifications at the time of the SSB interview. These documents should not be sent to the UPSC.

For clarifications, candidates can contact the UPSC facilitation centre or refer to the official contact details provided in the notification.

With this announcement, thousands of aspirants move one step closer to joining the ranks of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
