Bigg Boss 20: Aasif Khan Faces Backlash Over ‘No Moustache, No Man’ Remark

Aasif Khan faced criticism during the latest Bigg Boss 20 episode after making remarks linking moustaches with masculinity during a captaincy task. The Panchayat actor said that moustaches were an identity for men from Rajasthan and claimed that men without moustaches were not considered “real men.”

The comment came during a task involving Yung DSA’s team, which had won the diss battle competition and entered the captaincy race. Aasif defended Yung over the way he styled contestants’ moustaches, leading to an argument with other housemates.

Gullu and Aman Gandhi objected to Aasif’s remarks, pointing out that many men do not keep moustaches. Gullu also highlighted the fact that Bigg Boss host Salman Khan does not have a moustache. Mahhi Vij similarly criticised Aasif’s statement and argued that masculinity should not be defined by appearance.

The controversy soon spilled onto social media, where several viewers criticised Aasif and tagged Salman Khan while reacting to his comments. Some users questioned how the statement applied when the show’s host himself is known for his clean-shaven look.

The latest controversy comes amid other heated exchanges in the Bigg Boss 20 house, including backlash faced by Rhiti Tiwari following her argument with Qazi Touqeer. New episodes of Bigg Boss 20 stream on JioHotstar before airing on Colors TV.
