DJ Snake Cancels India Tour Due to Health Issues, Promises Strong Comeback

French electronic music producer and global EDM icon DJ Snake has officially called off his much-anticipated Sunburn Arena tour in India, citing serious health concerns that require immediate surgery and extended recovery. The announcement, made via social media, brought disappointment to fans across the country who were eagerly awaiting his return to the Indian stage in February.

The six-city India tour was scheduled to take place between February 6 and February 15, with performances planned in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR. The cancellation follows medical advice that the artist must undergo surgery in early February and take at least a month off to fully rest and recover.

In a heartfelt message addressed directly to his fans, DJ Snake revealed that he has been battling a health issue for some time, and delaying treatment was no longer an option. Calling the decision “incredibly hard,” the artist said prioritising his health was necessary to ensure a full recovery and future performances at his best.

The producer, whose real name is William Grigahcine, stated that the condition had gradually worsened, eventually forcing him to cancel all upcoming shows, including the India leg of his tour. He reassured fans that the decision was made solely on medical grounds and promised to return stronger once fully healed.

This cancellation marks a significant setback for Indian EDM enthusiasts, as the Sunburn Arena shows were expected to be among the biggest electronic music events of the early 2026 calendar. The India tour was originally planned for late 2025, with an initial launch in Kolkata and a concluding show in Delhi-NCR.
