52nd Daytime Emmys: Full Winners List

The 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards celebrated the best in American daytime television for 2024, with the ceremony held on October 17, 2025, at Pasadena Civic Auditorium, California. Actor and television host Mario Lopez presided over the event, which was moved from its traditional May-June slot to October this year.

‘General Hospital’ emerged as the night’s biggest winner, claiming seven awards, including Best Daytime Drama Series, Best Drama Actress (Nancy Lee Grahn), Best Supporting Drama Actor (Jonathan Jackson), and Daytime Drama Writing.

Long-running series ‘The Young and the Restless’ received the most nominations, appearing in 19 categories across the main awards.

A historic moment occurred as Sir David Attenborough became the oldest-ever Daytime Emmy winner at 99 for hosting Secret Lives of Orangutans, surpassing Dick Van Dyke’s record set last year at 98.

Other notable wins included:

  • ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ and ‘The Secret Lives of Animals’ – three awards each

  • ‘Black Barbie’ and ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ – two awards each
