Abhishek Sharma Shares Stylish Dubai Pics, Yuvraj Singh’s Hilarious Comment Goes Viral
Indian opener Abhishek Sharma recently treated fans to some stylish pictures from his downtime in Dubai, but it was his mentor Yuvraj Singh’s humorous comment that stole the spotlight.
Abhishek, who has been a standout performer for India during the Asia Cup 2025, has scored 248 runs at an average of 49.60 with a strike rate of 206.66. In his last two matches, he scored 74 against Pakistan and 75 against Bangladesh, helping India cruise into the final with ease.
While India enjoyed an off day on September 25, Abhishek shared glimpses of his Dubai outing on Instagram. Fans praised the 25-year-old for his stylish looks, but the highlight was Yuvraj Singh’s playful comment. The former Indian all-rounder jokingly reminded his disciple to stay disciplined, writing:
"I’ve got my eyes on you. Mr Frank."
Fans quickly reacted to Yuvraj’s comment, with many asking him to go easy on the young star.
Abhishek Breaks Yuvraj’s Record
Abhishek has also made his guru proud on the field. During the Asia Cup, he surpassed a record previously held by Yuvraj Singh. With his quick fifty against Bangladesh, Abhishek now has five fifties scored off 25 balls or fewer, overtaking Yuvraj’s record.
Abhishek shared that Yuvraj often advises him to share the glory during matches. "He always says — when you’ve hit a six, then give the other guy a chance to hit too. I’m working on that," he said.
The Indian opener is set to continue his Asia Cup campaign when India face Sri Lanka in their final Super 4 match on Friday.
