Anupam Kher Talks About Managing Brother Raju’s Finances, Praises Wife Kirron’s Support

Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently spoke about his financial support for his younger brother, Raju Kher, highlighting the role of family values and mutual respect. In a candid conversation on a YouTube interview, Anupam reflected on his approach to family, sibling bonds, and the understanding he shares with his wife, Kirron Kher.

Kirron Kher’s Support Appreciated

Anupam Kher praised Kirron for never questioning his financial decisions for the family. He shared,

“If every brother remembers what they were like when they were young, there would be no fight. I look at my life like it’s a film. How can I forget that we grew up together? I must also compliment Kirron because she never, ever asked me, 'Why do you do so much for your brother?' That’s how problems begin.”

He further explained his long-standing practice of handling household and family finances, stating that he had instructed his manager, “Remember one thing in life, never ask me how much money I’m giving to my brother.”

No Rivalry Between Brothers

Anupam emphasized the absence of jealousy or rivalry between him and Raju Kher.

“My brother has never been jealous of me, that I am more successful than him. He’s amazing that way. My parents lived more with my brother and his wife than they did with me. I become very upset when I see brothers killing each other over property. In the back of my mind, this is one of the reasons why I live on rent.”

He also highlighted his belief that sharing success and wealth with family is a natural outcome of a fortunate life, underlining the importance of familial harmony.

Raju Kher’s Career

Raju Kher, the younger sibling, has appeared in several films such as ‘Ghulam’, ‘Om Jai Jagadish’, ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Uunchai’, and popular TV shows like ‘Ghar Jamai’ and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher was last seen in ‘Tanvi The Great’ and is expected to feature in an upcoming Rabindranath Tagore biopic. His reflections on property disputes and living arrangements indicate a preference for simplicity and avoiding familial conflicts over inheritance.
