Jon Bon Jovi Announces 2026 'Forever Tour' After Vocal Cord Surgery

Iconic rock band Bon Jovi has officially announced their comeback with the 2026 'Forever Tour', marking their first major live performances since 2022. The tour begins in July 2026 with four nights at Madison Square Garden, New York, before heading to the UK and Ireland, including Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and London’s Wembley Stadium. This will be Bon Jovi’s first visit to the UK and Ireland since 2019.

Vocal Cord Surgery and Recovery

Frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent medialisation thyroplasty, a complex vocal cord surgery, in 2022, requiring an extended break from performing. The recovery involved rigorous daily rehabilitation and vocal therapy. Reflecting on his journey, Jon said:

"There was no miracle, only hard work and time."

He delayed touring until he was confident he could perform two-and-a-half-hour shows, four nights a week, maintaining the quality expected by fans.

Fan Dedication and Gratitude

Jon expressed heartfelt appreciation for fans’ patience and emphasized the collective joy of returning to the stage:

"I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience."

The tour, produced by Live Nation, represents resilience, preparation, and a renewed commitment to live music.

'Forever' Legendary Edition

Alongside the tour, Bon Jovi will release the 'Legendary Edition' of their sixteenth studio album, 'Forever', featuring collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, and Avril Lavigne.

The 2026 tour and album release together signify a major comeback, celebrating both Jon Bon Jovi’s recovery and the enduring bond between the band and their fans.
