Aryan Khan’s Directional Style in The Ba**ds of Bollywood* Impresses Lakshya

Actor Lakshya, who played the lead role in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, recently opened up about Aryan’s remarkable directorial style and on-set energy. The series, which continues to create buzz a month after release, highlights Aryan’s creative flair and commitment to his craft.

In a conversation with creator Raj Shamani, Lakshya shared that Aryan Khan would often act out entire scenes while guiding his actors — including the parts meant for female characters. Describing Aryan as “a powerhouse of will and creativity,” Lakshya said, “I meet very few people who make me think they have the power to change the world, and Aryan is one of them. Even before reading the script, I knew he would create something extraordinary. His zeal, aggression, and passion are unmatched.”

Lakshya added that Aryan’s vision stood out because he refused to follow trends. “When one film becomes a hit, most people start copying it. But Aryan wanted to make something everyone would talk about. He’s been through a lot, yet he chose to make people laugh at his own struggles,” the actor shared, appreciating Aryan’s humor and self-awareness.

The actor also revealed Aryan’s playful side, saying, “He’s witty, mischievous, and full of energy. He would demonstrate scenes himself — even the ones meant for female characters — showing how deeply he understood every performance nuance.”

Co-writer Bilal Siddiqi also marked the one-month anniversary of the show’s release with a gratitude post featuring Aryan and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, thanking fans for their overwhelming response.
