Bigg Boss Tamil 9: Vijay Sethupathi Calls Out Kamrudin, VJ Parvathy

The first weekend episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 9 saw host Vijay Sethupathi take a firm stand as he addressed contestants about their performance in the house. While acknowledging that the participants have started strategizing early, Sethupathi expressed disappointment over their failure to focus on the week’s main task of managing a limited water supply.

The actor highlighted several shortcomings, including Aadhirai’s lack of cooperation, Aurora Sinclair’s minimal contribution, and FJ’s inappropriate words against Diwaker during a heated argument. Aurora and Aadhirai appeared hurt by the host’s candid remarks, with Aurora breaking down. Sethupathi reassured them that his comments were meant to improve their gameplay and not personal.

Kamrudin, who served as the water supervisor for the week, was pulled up for negligence that resulted in the house running out of water for a day or two. Despite Kamrudin defending himself, Sethupathi accused him of playing politics to cover mistakes and cautioned him against using unparliamentary language. Similar advice was given to Diwaker and FJ.

During the task segment, contestants were asked to clap a board in front of the housemate they believed was acting in the first week. The majority pointed towards Parvathy, who maintained her composure but was reminded by Sethupathi to behave with dignity and decorum.

Parvathy, however, was visibly upset as she recalled being labelled fake and received applause from the audience when her name was mentioned. She expressed disappointment about the perception of her gameplay and shared, “I am not a character that everyone will agree to.” Kalaiyarasan and Diwaker attempted to console her, but the first week’s reception clearly left a mark on her.

The episode highlighted the intense emotions and early strategic gameplay of the housemates while reinforcing Sethupathi’s role in maintaining fairness, discipline, and respect in the Bigg Boss house.
