CBSE Invites Nominations for Student Participation in Podcasts and Social Media Initiatives

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice inviting affiliated schools to nominate students for participation in its official in-house podcasts and social media content initiatives.

According to the circular, schools are encouraged to nominate students from Classes 9 to 12 who are articulate, confident, and interested in appearing in CBSE’s digital and podcast-based content. The initiative aims to feature student voices through short videos, audio interactions, testimonials, and conversations for educational engagement on official CBSE platforms.

The Board has clarified that participation is voluntary and requires written consent from both students and their parents or guardians through the concerned school. Schools willing to participate must submit the names and brief profiles of selected students within 10 days of the circular's issuance, using the Google Form link provided by CBSE.

The initiative is designed to enhance CBSE’s educational outreach by producing in-house podcasts and digital content covering academic and counseling-related topics. These resources, already available on platforms such as YouTube, seek to provide guidance, awareness, and support for students, parents, and educators.

Additionally, CBSE has reminded affiliated schools and stakeholders to strictly adhere to the prescribed timelines regarding direct admissions in Classes 10 and 12, as well as subject change requests.
