Delhi Circle Rates Revision 2025: Public Feedback Invited on Property Valuation Changes

The Delhi government is considering a revision of circle rates across the city and has invited citizens, RWAs, industry bodies, and property owners to submit feedback within 15 days.

Circle rates, the minimum prices for property registration, serve as benchmarks for property valuation and tax assessment. Officials say updating these rates will align them closer to current market values, improve revenue collection, and enhance transparency in property deals.

Delhi’s Current Classification
Delhi’s residential areas are divided into eight categories (A to H). Category A includes upscale neighbourhoods with the highest circle rates, while Category H covers rural areas with the lowest rates. The revision will also cover agricultural and riverbed lands.

Public Participation
The Revenue Department has asked stakeholders to share their suggestions before finalising changes. Existing circle rate notifications can be accessed on the department’s official website.

The government has assured that all feedback will be considered to ensure fair property valuation and registration processes.
