Gaza Peace Summit 2025: PM Modi Invited, Kirti Vardhan Singh to Represent India

India’s diplomatic presence is set to be felt at the Gaza peace summit 2025 in Sharm el-Sheikh, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and US President Donald Trump. The summit aims to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen peace and stability in the Middle East, and establish long-term regional security.

While PM Modi will skip the signing due to prior engagements, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh will represent India, reaffirming the country’s consistent role as a prominent voice of the Global South in international diplomacy.

The summit, which will see participation from over 20 world leaders, seeks to finalise a truce deal and secure the release of remaining Israeli hostages. India’s involvement highlights its commitment to peace, stability, and conflict resolution in the Middle East.

With Modi’s invitation and Singh’s participation, India continues to assert its position in global peace efforts, emphasizing diplomacy, collaboration, and regional security in one of the world’s most sensitive conflict zones.
