ICSE, ISC Date Sheets 2026: Where and How to Download Timetable Once Released

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to release the date sheets for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations for 2026 in the coming weeks. Once published, the timetable will be made available on the official website, cisce.org, in PDF format for students to download and use for exam preparation.

Based on previous years, the announcement is usually made in the first week of October. For 2026, the schedule is likely to be released in early October 2025. This follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) already announcing exam dates for Classes 10 and 12, signaling that the exam season is fast approaching.

How to Download ICSE and ISC Date Sheets 2026

Students can access the timetable by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official CISCE website – cisce.org

  2. Click on the ‘Examinations’ tab on the homepage

  3. Select ICSE 2026 Exam Dates or ISC 2026 Exam Dates

CISCE Examinations Conducted Annually

The CISCE conducts three major exams each year:

  • Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE – Class 10)

  • Indian School Certificate (ISC – Class 12)

  • Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE – Year 12)

The ICSE curriculum is structured to provide balanced education, with English as the medium of instruction. Students are required to take six subjects, including compulsory English, alongside Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service.

Unlike ISC, ICSE does not allow subject diversification at this stage, ensuring broad academic exposure. The structure assumes 12 years of schooling (Nursery–Class 10), encouraging flexibility while maintaining uniformity.

What Students Can Expect

The release of the timetable will give students a structured plan for board exam preparation. Schools will also be able to finalize internal assessments and pre-board schedules. Parents and teachers are advised to rely only on the official website for updates and avoid unverified sources.

CISCE is also expected to issue further exam guidelines, including practical schedules, in the months ahead.
