Speaking at the India-UK CEO Forum in Mumbai, PM Modi emphasized the broader vision of the pact, stating, “This is not just a trade agreement, but a roadmap for shared progress, shared prosperity, and shared peoples between the two major economies of the world.”

He also highlighted Vision 2035, aiming to leverage India’s talent and the UK’s R&D capabilities to achieve global benchmarks in fintech, green hydrogen, and semiconductors, signalling a future-focused approach to bilateral collaboration.
