Metro…In Dino OTT Release: Watch Anurag Basu’s Romantic Anthology on Netflix
Director Anurag Basu’s musical romantic-drama Metro…In Dino has made its digital debut on Netflix India, premiering on August 29, 2025. The film serves as a spiritual sequel to Basu’s 2007 anthology Life...In A Metro, exploring the complexities of human relationships in urban life.
Netflix India shared the release on Instagram, captioning, “Ye metro platform pe aa chuki hai. Ab inki prem kahani, hui aapki (This metro has now reached the platform. Their love story is now yours)! Watch Metro In Dino, out now on Netflix.”
Cast and Music
The ensemble cast features Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal. This marks Basu’s first release since his 2020 black comedy Ludo. The music is composed by Pritam, who also scored Life...In A Metro. India Today praised the soundtrack, stating that Pritam’s compositions “define the film” and serve as a musical tribute to the late KK, whose songs brought the 2007 anthology to life.
