NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment Results Out Today: Reporting and Verification Details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to release the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 seat allotment results today, September 17. Candidates can check their seat allocations on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.

Students allotted seats in Round 2 are required to report to their respective institutes between September 18 and September 25. Verification of joined candidates will be conducted from September 26 to September 27.

This round follows key policy updates and court rulings. The Supreme Court upheld Telangana’s domicile requirements for state-quota medical admissions, while the Bombay High Court invalidated Goa’s sports quota for medical seats.

Reporting and Verification:
All Round 2 candidates must complete reporting and joining between September 18 and 25. Institutes will verify candidate details from September 26 to 27 to ensure accurate records.

Policy Updates and Round 3:
Karnataka has added 450 additional medical seats and introduced a 15% NRI quota in government medical colleges for this year’s counselling.

The MCC/DGHS counselling process covers 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed universities, central universities including Delhi University, AMU, and BHU, ESIC quota, AFMC registration, as well as seats at AIIMS and JIPMER.

Round 3 of NEET UG 2025 counselling will commence after Round 2, with registration opening on September 29. Payment facilities will remain open until 3 pm on October 5.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the MCC website for updates and complete all required admission processes within the deadlines to secure their seats. The ongoing counselling rounds reflect evolving policies, court decisions, and expanded seat availability, shaping medical education opportunities across India.
