Param Sundari Box Office Day 2: Sidharth Malhotra-Janhvi Kapoor Film Sees Growth, Collects Rs 16.47 Crore
The romantic-drama ‘Param Sundari’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, witnessed a notable growth at the box office on its second day after a modest opening. Released on August 29, 2025, the film has now amassed a total domestic collection of Rs 16.47 crore.
The movie earned Rs 7.25 crore on its opening day, Friday, according to Sacnilk. On Saturday, the collection jumped to Rs 9.22 crore, reflecting positive word-of-mouth and growing audience interest.
With this performance, the film has surpassed the lifetime collection of ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’, which earned Rs 12.85 crore. However, it still trails behind blockbuster hits like ‘Chennai Express’, which collected Rs 28.05 crore on its second day, and ‘Saiyaara’, which earned Rs 21.5 crore on its opening day.
‘Param Sundari’ tells the story of two lovers from Delhi and Kerala, with Sidharth portraying a Punjabi boy and Janhvi a Keralite girl. The film also features Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles. Its soundtrack, particularly the song ‘Pardesiya’, received widespread appreciation ahead of the release.
Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the romantic drama received mixed reviews, with some critics questioning the casting of Janhvi Kapoor as a Keralite. Despite this, the film’s box office growth on Day 2 suggests a steady audience turnout for the Sidharth-Janhvi starrer.
