Rani Mukerji Honors Indian Police Force on Police Day 2025 Ahead of Mardaani 3 Release

On Indian Police Day 2025, Bollywood star Rani Mukerji paid heartfelt tribute to the Indian Police Force, recognising their courage, commitment, and selfless service to the nation. The actress, who will reprise her powerful role as Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3, used the occasion to express deep respect for the men and women in uniform.

In a statement, Rani said, “It is an honour for me to salute the Indian Police Force through my film franchise Mardaani. Across India, cops protect citizens, risk their lives, and sacrifice personal moments to keep us safe. Words cannot truly express the gratitude they deserve.”

She further emphasised that the public should remember the human side of those who serve in uniform. “Behind every uniform is a human being who chose to do good, who decided that the country comes first. They are someone’s son, daughter, father, or mother, and we must acknowledge that. I respect the force with all my heart,” Rani added.

The Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway actor highlighted the emotional and physical toll of policing, describing the profession as one defined by bravery and sacrifice. “A police officer leaves home every day with no certainty of returning. They face dangerous criminals and uncertain situations fearlessly. Their lives have inspired me to live boldly,” she said.

Rani’s remarks also underscored how Mardaani serves as a cinematic salute to law enforcement. “Through Mardaani, I try to honour their courage and remind people of their unwavering devotion and patriotism. The Indian Police Force teaches us what it means to serve selflessly, and we can all learn from them,” she concluded.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, Mardaani 3 will release in cinemas on February 27, 2026. The film continues the legacy of the critically acclaimed Mardaani series, portraying women-led strength, justice, and the indomitable spirit of India’s police force.

Rani’s tribute resonated widely among fans and officers alike, adding emotional depth to Indian Police Day celebrations and anticipation for her upcoming film.
