UKSSSC Recruitment Exams 2025: Commission Confirms Schedule Amid Paper Leak Concerns

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has reassured candidates that all upcoming recruitment exams will be conducted on schedule, despite the recent controversy over a paper leak.

Chairman Ganesh Singh Martolia confirmed on Wednesday that recruitment exams for government posts scheduled through June 2026 will take place without delay.

Upcoming Exam Schedule

Martolia stated:

  • October 5 & 12, 2025 – Written examinations

  • October 28, 2025 – Physical Efficiency Test for Forester posts

By mid-2026, exams for nearly 5,000–5,500 government posts are planned. Currently, the commission is managing 10,000–12,000 vacancies, with exams for approximately 4,500–5,000 positions already completed. Final results will follow document verification and physical assessments.

Strengthened Security Measures

The reassurance comes after the alleged leak of three pages from a graduate-level exam question paper on September 21 at a Haridwar centre. Investigations revealed the accused, Khalid Malik, used a hidden mobile phone to photograph pages and share them externally.

In response, UKSSSC has tightened its examination protocols, including:

  • Biometric verification of candidates

  • Mandatory frisking and strict entry checks

  • Mobile jammers at centres

  • Sanitisation and security guarding of exam venues from a day prior

Candidates will be required to arrive two hours early, undergo verification, and even remove footwear before entry to maintain integrity.

Commitment to Fair Recruitment

Martolia emphasised that the commission remains committed to transparent recruitment. "All centres will be thoroughly monitored to ensure a fair and secure examination process," he said.

The commission’s measures aim to rebuild trust among candidates and ensure smooth recruitment for thousands of government vacancies in Uttarakhand.
