The National Testing Agency (NTA) has suspended the empanelment of M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with immediate effect, following alleged lapses in the conduct of the AIAPGET 2026 examination at a centre in Jaipur.
The action comes after a power supply failure disrupted the examination for 49 candidates, who were unable to complete their test. NTA has also issued a show-cause notice to the examination conducting agency.
AIAPGET 2026 Held in Two Shifts Across 205 Centres
The AIAPGET 2026 examination was conducted on August 22, 2026, in two shifts across approximately 205 examination centres in the country.
According to the examination data:
- Registered candidates: 51,482
- Candidates who appeared: 49,867
- Examination centres: Approximately 205
- Candidates affected by Jaipur power failure: 49
The examination was largely completed successfully, except for the disruption reported at the Jaipur centre.
49 Candidates to Take Retest on September 1
The NTA has scheduled a re-examination on September 1, 2026, for the 49 candidates who were affected by the power supply failure at the Jaipur examination centre.
The affected candidates will be issued revised admit cards containing further details regarding the retest, including the examination venue and reporting instructions.
Earlier, the NTA had confirmed that the disruption occurred at the Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur, where a power failure prevented 49 candidates from completing their examination.
NTA Issues Show-Cause Notice to Eduquity
In its latest action, the NTA said it had issued a show-cause notice to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd. over lapses in conducting the AIAPGET examination at the Jaipur centre.

Pending the resolution of the notice, the agency's empanelment with the NTA has been suspended with immediate effect.
The development places the examination agency under scrutiny over its role in ensuring the smooth conduct of computer-based examinations and maintaining contingency arrangements at test centres.
The AIAPGET retest for the affected candidates is scheduled for September 1, 2026.
What Candidates Should Know
Candidates affected by the Jaipur power failure should:
- Wait for the revised AIAPGET 2026 admit card.
- Check the revised examination venue and reporting time.
- Appear for the retest scheduled on September 1, 2026.
- Follow further instructions issued by the NTA.
The latest action against the examination agency follows the disruption that affected 49 candidates during the AIAPGET 2026 examination, while the remaining examination was conducted across approximately 205 centres nationwide.
