Tara Sutaria Alleges Paid Negative PR Campaign Against Her and AP Dhillon

Actor Tara Sutaria has publicly addressed allegations of a paid negative public relations campaign aimed at damaging her personal life and professional image. The actor shared a video by influencer Tanisha Malara, who claimed she was approached to take part in an organised online smear effort against Tara and singer AP Dhillon.

Sharing the video on social media, Tara accused unnamed individuals of orchestrating coordinated digital attacks to malign her reputation. She stated that the campaign involved paid promotions designed to push harmful narratives, adding that such actions were intended to impact both her career and her personal relationships.

According to Tara, content creators and meme pages were allegedly supplied with pre-written talking points and derogatory captions, which were then circulated across multiple platforms. She described the approach as disturbing and said the attempts to damage her image would not succeed.

The post drew immediate reactions from those close to her. Tara’s partner, Veer Pahariya, expressed his support in the comments, while AP Dhillon also reacted, appearing to dismiss the allegations with a brief response.

In the video reshared by Tara, Tanisha Malara alleged that she was offered money to defame the actor under the pretext of content creation. She claimed that influencers involved in the campaign were provided with a fixed list of remarks and captions that were required to be repeated across videos and comment sections. According to her, the repetition of identical comments under viral reels indicated a coordinated and paid effort rather than spontaneous online criticism.

The influencer further alleged that while the campaign was publicly framed as being directed at AP Dhillon, the bulk of the negative content appeared to focus on Tara Sutaria. She urged viewers to observe patterns across multiple accounts and said she would share screenshots to support her claims.

The controversy follows earlier online speculation surrounding a viral moment from AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert, where Tara made a guest appearance on stage. The clip had triggered commentary about her personal life, prompting Tara and Veer to address the matter earlier.

Tara’s allegations have since sparked wider discussions online about paid PR tactics, organised digital harassment and the lack of accountability within influencer-driven online ecosystems.
