Tenneco Clean Air IPO Allotment: GMP, Status and Listing Info

The allotment for the Tenneco Clean Air IPO will be finalised today, November 17, following exceptionally strong demand across investor categories. The public issue recorded an overall subscription of 61.79 times, reflecting robust appetite for the company’s offer for sale.

At the close of bidding on November 14, the QIB category was subscribed 174.78 times, NIIs 42.79 times, and retail investors 5.37 times. Against 6.34 crore shares on offer, the IPO attracted bids for over 392 crore shares, amounting to approximately Rs 1.55 lakh crore.

The IPO—entirely an offer for sale worth Rs 3,600 crore—did not include a fresh issue, meaning no new capital will flow directly into the company. The price band was set at Rs 378–397 per share, with retail investors required to invest a minimum of Rs 14,689 for one lot.

The grey market premium (GMP) for the Tenneco Clean Air IPO has continued to rise, supported by strong investor interest. As of November 17, the GMP stands at Rs 122.

Based on the upper price band of Rs 397, the estimated listing price is around Rs 519, signalling potential listing gains of approximately 30.7%.
