US President Donald Trump has once again denied any personal involvement with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, asserting that recently released investigative records confirm he was “totally exonerated.” Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said he had “nothing to hide” and dismissed renewed scrutiny following the disclosure of additional documents.

Trump stated that investigators had thoroughly examined the case and found no evidence linking him to wrongdoing. He reiterated that he had no connection to Epstein’s criminal activities and emphasized that no charges have ever been brought against him in relation to the case.

Justice Department Releases Epstein Investigation Records

The renewed debate follows the US Department of Justice’s release of more than three million pages of documents, photographs, and videos connected to the Epstein investigation. Epstein died in 2019 while in custody in a Manhattan jail, in a death ruled a suicide by authorities.

Officials said the disclosures comply with legal and court-ordered transparency requirements and indicated that no further releases are currently planned. However, lawmakers from both major political parties have criticized the agency for withholding internal memoranda, emails, and investigative notes, arguing that potentially important information may remain undisclosed.

Public records show Trump and Epstein moved within similar social circles in New York and Palm Beach during the late 1980s and 1990s. Photographs from that period show the two attending social events together, including high-profile gatherings.

Trump has previously said that his association with Epstein ended before Epstein’s legal troubles became widely known. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Epstein was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. His associate Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted in 2021 on sex trafficking and related offenses.
