Ahaan Panday Addresses Dating Rumours with Aneet Padda

Ahaan Panday has addressed the growing speculation surrounding his equation with Saiyaara co-star Aneet Padda, after months of online chatter and public curiosity. The duo, who earned widespread attention following their impressive debut performances, quickly became the subject of rumours due to their undeniable on-screen chemistry and frequent public appearances.

In an interview, Panday clarified that while his bond with Aneet is exceptionally strong, it is not romantic. He described her as his “best friend” and emphasised that their connection stems from trust, comfort and a shared dream that began long before Saiyaara released.

“Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic — it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet,” he said.

Panday shared that both he and Aneet had bonded deeply over a Paulo Coelho quote during the film’s making:
“It’s the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.”
He revealed that they manifested success together, and watching that dream unfold has only strengthened their friendship.

Addressing his relationship status, Ahaan stated that he is currently single. Reflecting on his past relationships, he noted that his love language tends to be “acts of service and grand gestures”.

Both actors have now moved ahead into high-profile projects. Ahaan Panday is gearing up for an action film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under YRF, co-starring Sharvari. Aneet Padda is set to appear in Shakti Shalini, the sixth film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.

Their professional focus, combined with the clarity Ahaan has now offered, is expected to put an end to ongoing speculation — even as fans continue to admire the duo’s rare bond.
