Ali Fazal Shares BTS Pics from Mirzapur: The Film Shoot
Actor Ali Fazal has sparked excitement among fans by sharing new behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of Mirzapur: The Film, currently being shot in Rajasthan. The photos feature familiar faces from the franchise — Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Abhishek Banerjee — along with the film’s newest cast member, Jitendra Kumar.
Ali posted two cheerful images on Instagram, showing the cast in a relaxed, candid moment as they posed together on location. The actor used the opportunity to cheer for the newly released 120 Bahadur, while teasing that the Mirzapur team would be arriving in theatres soon.
He captioned the post with his trademark humour:
“From the M team – 7 idhar 120 udhar. Cinema gharon mein 120 Bahadur lagi hai dekhiyega. Aur hum? Humaara zara beyt keejiyega. Coming Soon In Theatres.”
The film marks the big-screen expansion of the widely acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur, which originally starred Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
In Season 2, the series retained most of its original cast — except Vikrant and Shriya — and introduced Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam.
The original show was primarily filmed across Uttar Pradesh, including Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. The film adaptation, now in production, is expected to release in 2026.
Fans are already buzzing with anticipation as the franchise prepares to enter the world of theatrical cinema.
