The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun releasing the results of Class 12 applications submitted for verification of marks, photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, and re-evaluation of answers.
According to the board, the results are being published in phases to ensure careful processing of every application. In the first phase alone, CBSE has already declared the outcomes for more than 87 percent of the total applications received from students across the country.
The development brings relief to thousands of students awaiting updates on their revised scores after applying for post-result review processes.
CBSE stated that the verification and re-evaluation process involves multiple stages and requires detailed scrutiny of answer scripts.
To maintain accuracy and transparency, the board is releasing results in batches rather than publishing all outcomes simultaneously. Officials said the phased approach helps ensure that every request is reviewed thoroughly before final results are updated.
Students whose applications are still under review are advised to wait for subsequent result releases.
The board reported that the first phase covered more than 87 percent of all applications submitted by students.
This includes requests related to:
The large percentage of processed applications indicates that the board has made significant progress in completing the post-examination review process.
CBSE offers multiple options for students who wish to review their examination results.
Verification of marks involves checking whether marks have been correctly totaled and transferred. Students may also request photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets to understand how their responses were assessed.
Following that, students can apply for re-evaluation of specific questions if they believe there has been an error in marking.
Candidates whose applications have been processed can check their revised results through official CBSE channels.
In cases where changes are made following verification or re-evaluation, updated marks will be reflected in the student's records. If no discrepancies are found, the original marks remain unchanged.
Students are advised to regularly monitor official notifications for further updates.
The verification and re-evaluation system provides students with an opportunity to ensure that their examination results accurately reflect their performance.
For many students, even small changes in marks can influence admission prospects, scholarship eligibility, cut-off requirements, and competitive application processes. As a result, the review mechanism remains an important part of the examination system.
CBSE has emphasized its commitment to maintaining fairness and transparency throughout the process.
While the majority of applications have already been processed, some requests are still undergoing evaluation.
The board has assured students that all pending applications will be reviewed carefully and that additional results will be released in subsequent phases. Students whose outcomes have not yet been declared should continue checking official updates.
No separate action is required unless specifically communicated by the board.
The release of re-evaluation results marks an important step for students seeking clarity regarding their board examination performance.
With more than 87 percent of applications already addressed, a large number of candidates now have access to their final revised outcomes. The remaining results are expected to be declared soon as the board completes the review process.
Students should carefully review their updated results and download any revised mark statements if applicable.
Those preparing for college admissions, entrance examinations, or further academic opportunities can now proceed based on their finalized scores. CBSE is expected to continue issuing updates until all pending verification and re-evaluation applications have been fully processed.
