Geoffrey Boycott Picks Ravindra Jadeja Over Fab Four as Favourite Modern Cricketer

Former England cricket great Geoffrey Boycott has picked Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as his favourite modern-day cricketer, choosing him ahead of the celebrated Fab Four of Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson and Joe Root.

Boycott made the surprising choice during a conversation with Michael Vaughan, who presented the four modern batting giants as possible options. However, Boycott went beyond specialist batting excellence and selected Jadeja because of his ability to influence matches in every department.

The former England captain praised Jadeja's left-arm bowling, dependable batting and exceptional fielding, describing him as a proper all-round cricketer. Boycott was particularly impressed by the Indian star's ability to contribute consistently with both bat and ball while also producing outstanding moments in the field.
