Farah Khan Talks About Deepika Padukone’s Busy Schedule Amid Cook Dilip’s Invitation

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan shared a lighthearted anecdote about actress Deepika Padukone during a recent vlog with her cook, Dilip, at actor Rohit Saraf’s home. The vlog captured a playful moment when Rohit’s mother made her on-camera debut.

Farah humorously remarked, “Haan itna time to Deepika Padukone ne nahi lagaya mujhe haan bolne mein” (Even Deepika Padukone didn’t take that long to say yes to me), drawing laughter and warmth during the episode.

Later, when Dilip asked when Deepika might appear on their show, Farah replied, “Jis din tu gaon jaayega naa us din aayengi” (She will appear the day you go to your village), adding that the star now only works 8-hour shoots and doesn’t have time for such appearances.

Deepika’s Current Work Updates
After embracing motherhood with the birth of her daughter, Dua, in September 2024, Deepika has made headlines for exiting projects like Spirit and the Kalki 2898 AD sequel. Her limited 8-hour working schedule has been widely discussed in the media.

Deepika began her career in Farah Khan’s debut directorial Om Shanti Om (2007) alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She later collaborated with Farah and SRK in Happy New Year (2014). Her most recent release was Siddharth Anand’s aerial action thriller Fighter, opposite Hrithik Roshan.

The actress is also confirmed for upcoming projects, including Shah Rukh Khan’s home production King, which marks the big-screen debut of SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, and Atlee’s sci-fi venture with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22 x A6.

Farah Khan’s playful comment reminds fans of Deepika’s iconic career and busy schedule, while giving a glimpse into the lighter side of Bollywood interactions.
