RBSE to Release Class 10, 12 Datesheets Soon; Rajasthan Board Exams Expected in February 2026

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is set to release the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam datesheets for 2026 shortly. Once announced, students will be able to download the official timetable from the board’s website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

As per early indications, the board exams are likely to begin in the first week of February 2026, following the single-morning-shift format used in previous years. Exam timings are expected to remain 8:30 am to 11:45 am, and students will be required to reach their centres at least 30 minutes early.

In 2025, RBSE conducted the Class 10 exams from March 6 to April 4, and Class 12 exams from March 6 to April 7.

Two-Board-Exam Model from 2026–27

In a major reform, the Rajasthan government has approved a two-board-exam system for Classes 10 and 12 beginning in the 2026–27 academic year. The RBSE will now conduct:

  • Main Board Exam: February–March

  • Second Opportunity Exam: May–June

All students must appear in the main exam, while the second opportunity exam will help them improve scores without repeating an entire academic year.

This marks a significant shift aimed at reducing exam pressure, improving performance, and offering greater flexibility to students.

With the 2026 datesheets expected soon, students are advised to track official updates and begin synchronising their preparation with the likely February–March exam window.
