Delhi University Fee Waiver 2026-27: Apply for Up to 100% Financial Support by October 13

Delhi University has opened applications for its Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for the 2026-27 academic session, offering eligible students fee waivers of up to 100%. The scheme is aimed at reducing the financial burden on students from families with lower annual incomes.

Under the scheme, students with an annual family income of up to Rs 4 lakh can receive a 100% fee waiver, subject to a maximum waiver of Rs 15,000. Those with an annual family income between Rs 4,00,001 and Rs 8 lakh are eligible for a 50% waiver, capped at Rs 10,000.

Full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in a DU department, institute or centre can apply if they meet the eligibility criteria. Students from constituent colleges, BTech programmes except CIC, five-year integrated law programmes, School of Open Learning and NCWEB are excluded. Students with an Essential Repeat in any previous examination are also not eligible.

The online application deadline is October 13, 2026. Applicants need to submit income or EWS/OBC-NCL certificates, income tax returns and PAN cards of family members, an undertaking, bonafide certificate, latest fee receipt, previous marksheet and bank details. Income certificates issued by a notary or in the student's name will not be accepted.
