UPSSSC Aspirant Arrested for Alleged Rs 10 Lakh Bluetooth Cheating Deal

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF) has arrested an aspirant accused of using a concealed Bluetooth device to allegedly cheat during the UPSSSC Lower Subordinate Services Main Examination in Lucknow.

According to the STF, the candidate allegedly paid Rs 10 lakh for a cheating arrangement involving a specially modified vest with a hidden pocket and a Bluetooth communication device.

Candidate Caught During UPSSSC Main Examination

The accused, identified by the STF as Brijesh Yadav, was allegedly caught while appearing for the examination at Dayanand Kanya Inter College in the Mahanagar area of Lucknow.

During questioning, investigators allegedly discovered details of a planned cheating arrangement involving concealed electronic equipment.

According to the STF, Yadav had been provided with a specially designed vest containing a hidden pocket where the Bluetooth device could be concealed during the examination.

Rs 10 Lakh Allegedly Paid for Cheating Setup

Investigators alleged that the arrangement was facilitated by Ramesh Chandra Patel, a resident of Prayagraj.

The STF claims the candidate had agreed to pay Rs 10 lakh for the setup, which allegedly involved using the hidden Bluetooth device to receive assistance during the examination.

Authorities are investigating how the communication system was intended to operate and whether others were involved in facilitating the alleged cheating attempt.

STF Searches for Alleged Facilitator

Following the candidate's arrest, the UP STF launched a search for Patel, who is alleged to have arranged the Bluetooth-based cheating setup.

According to investigators, Patel may have allegedly helped other candidates use similar methods in previous competitive examinations.

A team has reportedly been deployed to trace him and examine whether the case is connected to a larger organised examination cheating network.

Investigation May Reveal Wider Cheating Network

The investigation is now focused on determining whether other candidates, facilitators or individuals were involved.

The case highlights the continuing challenge faced by examination authorities in detecting concealed electronic devices and organised methods of cheating during competitive examinations.

With the UP STF continuing its investigation and searching for the alleged facilitator, authorities are examining whether the Bluetooth device arrangement was an isolated attempt or part of a wider network involved in examination malpractice.
