The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced a Virtual Mental Health Series to mark World Mental Health Week from October 4 to 10, 2025.
This initiative is aimed at principals, teachers, counsellors, parents, and students of CBSE-affiliated schools, with the goal of promoting emotional wellbeing, reducing stigma around mental health, and equipping school communities with practical tools for resilience.
???? Objectives of the Series
The programme seeks to:

Provide educators, counsellors, and parents with effective strategies to support students’ emotional health.

Encourage positive practices within schools to create safe, supportive learning environments.

Foster psychological resilience and awareness through evidence-based methods.
???? Daily Expert Sessions
The week-long series will feature live sessions every day between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm, led by experts from AIIMS’ Department of Psychiatry and Counselling Services.
