Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have finally shared a glimpse of their wedding after keeping the ceremony largely private.

The couple tied the knot on August 11 at their home in Cascais, Portugal, choosing a small family celebration over the lavish wedding Georgina once imagined.

The first official photographs from the ceremony have now been published by Vogue, showing Ronaldo and Rodriguez with their children and a small group of guests.

WHY RONALDO AND GEORGINA CHOSE A PRIVATE WEDDING

The couple's wedding took place at 1:30 pm on August 11, exactly 10 years after Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodriguez was working as a sales assistant.

Speaking to Vogue, Rodriguez explained that her idea of the perfect wedding had changed over the years.

She said she once dreamed of a huge castle, a grand carriage, a long wedding dress and a diamond crown. But with their lives already filled with luxury, she said she wanted something much more intimate.

The ceremony was attended by their five children and just four witnesses.

Among those present were Ronaldo's longtime friend Miguel Paixo, Rodriguez's sister Ivana Rodriguez and friends Jose Rodriguez Sangil and Monica Gonzalez Martinez.

WHAT RONALDO AND GEORGINA WORE

The photographs, captured by photographer Juergen Teller, provide the first detailed look at the couple's wedding day.

Ronaldo wore a light-coloured suit with a white shirt, while Rodriguez chose a white skirt-and-jacket outfit paired with a matching shirt.

The couple also attended a mass to bless their marriage.

Other photographs show Rodriguez spending time with the children and wearing Chopard jewellery, while the Vogue shoot also offers glimpses into the couple's home life, including her shoe collection and moments around the pool.

According to Vogue, the marriage was conducted under a separation-of-assets regime.

RONALDO AND GEORGINA'S RELATIONSHIP

The wedding marked another milestone in Ronaldo and Rodriguez's decade-long relationship.

The couple first met in 2016, when Rodriguez was working at Gucci in Madrid. Their relationship eventually became one of the most closely followed celebrity partnerships in the world.

They had already confirmed their marriage on social media, with Ronaldo posting a photograph of the couple holding hands and displaying their wedding rings.

However, the decision to keep the actual ceremony private allowed them to celebrate the occasion away from the intense global attention surrounding their lives.

RONALDO HINTS AT FOOTBALL RETIREMENT

The wedding also comes at an important stage of Ronaldo's football career.

In his conversation with Vogue, the 41-year-old Portugal captain indicated that the 2026-27 season could be his final season in professional football.

Ronaldo said he wants to leave behind a “spectacular legacy” but stopped short of formally announcing his retirement.

He has scored 976 goals in 1,330 matches for club and country and is only 24 goals away from reaching the landmark figure of 1,000.

Ronaldo also admitted that he has already thought about life after football.

He said he wants to travel more, spend time playing padel and enjoy life with his family after decades of professional football.

For now, however, Ronaldo remains captain of Portugal and an important player for Al Nassr.

His wedding to Georgina, followed by his comments about retirement, marks an interesting moment in the life of one of football's most famous stars — both professionally and personally.
