Delhi Car Deaths Case: Tantric Angle Probed After Victims Met Baba Hours Earlier

A new angle has emerged in the mysterious case of three people found dead inside a parked car in west Delhi, with investigators now probing the possible involvement of a tantric and his associate. Delhi Police officials have confirmed that the victims had met the baba just hours before their bodies were discovered, adding a fresh dimension to the ongoing investigation.

The incident came to light on Sunday when the bodies of three individuals were found inside a stationary vehicle on the Peeragarhi Flyover. The deceased have been identified as Randhir, aged 76, Naresh Singh, 47, and Laxmi Devi, 40. According to investigators, the trio met the tantric in the Peeragarhi area around 10:30 am on the same day. After the meeting, they reportedly travelled towards northeast Delhi via the Ring Road before returning to the Peeragarhi locality later in the afternoon.

Delhi Police officials stated that questioning of the tantric and his aide is underway to establish the nature of their interaction with the victims and whether it has any direct or indirect link to the deaths. CCTV footage from multiple locations along the victims’ travel route is being examined to reconstruct their movements and identify any suspicious activity.

Investigators have also revealed that the three victims had known each other for a considerable period. Randhir and Naresh were both associated with the property business, while Laxmi Devi worked in elderly home care services. Police sources indicated that the trio remained in frequent contact, suggesting a close personal or professional relationship.

At the scene, authorities recovered three liquor bottles along with used disposable glasses near the car. Vomit was reportedly found in the mouths of Naresh and Laxmi, as well as in some of the disposable glasses recovered nearby. These findings have strengthened the suspicion that poisoning could be a possible cause of death, although officials have stressed that no conclusions will be drawn until forensic reports are received.

Police have also verified personal details of the victims as part of the background investigation. Laxmi Devi was previously married, with her former husband currently residing in Bihar, while she was living in Delhi with her present spouse. Officials stated that scrutiny of the victims’ personal and financial profiles has not revealed anything immediately suspicious so far.

Importantly, no external injuries were found on any of the bodies, and there were no visible signs of struggle, robbery, or forced entry at the site. This has further narrowed the focus of the probe towards internal causes rather than violent assault.

Postmortem examinations of Randhir and Naresh have already been conducted, while Laxmi Devi’s autopsy is awaited. Viscera samples from the bodies are being preserved for chemical analysis to determine whether toxic substances were present.

As the investigation continues, police officials have maintained that all angles, including foul play, self-harm, and external influence, remain open. The role of the tantric and his associate is expected to become clearer once forensic reports and CCTV analysis are completed.
