Gandhari OTT Release Date: Taapsee Pannu’s Action Thriller to Premiere on Netflix on September 3

Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming action thriller Gandhari is set to premiere on Netflix on September 3, 2026. The film combines intense action with an emotional story centred on a mother’s relentless search for her daughter.

Set in the fictional town of Joypurra, Gandhari follows Bani, a mother whose life takes a dangerous turn when her daughter goes missing. Determined to find and protect her child, she enters an increasingly threatening world filled with danger and difficult challenges.

As Bani moves closer to her daughter, she is forced to confront powerful threats and push herself beyond her limits. The story explores themes of survival, resilience and the strength of a mother willing to fight against every obstacle to protect her family.

The film features Taapsee Pannu in one of her most physically demanding roles, with the actor performing extensive action sequences. Gandhari aims to blend high-octane action with an emotionally driven narrative, placing a mother’s determination at the centre of the story.

The cast also includes Ishwak Singh, Chhaya Kadam, Swastika Mukherjee, Mita Vashisht and Jatin Sarna in key roles.

Gandhari marks another collaboration between Taapsee Pannu, Kanika Dhillon and Netflix following their earlier project Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The upcoming film takes a different direction, focusing on an action-packed survival story driven by a mother’s search for her daughter.

With its combination of emotional stakes, action and suspense, Gandhari is set to join Netflix’s upcoming Indian original film lineup when it premieres on September 3, 2026.
