Government Invites Public Suggestions on Major Reforms in Public Examinations, Deadline September 13

The Government of India has launched a public consultation seeking suggestions on reforms in public examinations, inviting students, parents, teachers and citizens across the country to share their views.

The consultation is being conducted by the High-Powered Task Force on Reforms in Public Examinations, which is seeking public feedback and suggestions on ways to improve India's examination system.

Citizens can submit their suggestions through WhatsApp by sending a message to +91 7827042830. The WhatsApp consultation can also be accessed directly by sending the message “hptf” through the designated link: https://wa.me/917827042830?text=hptf.

Suggestions can also be submitted through the official website of the task force at examreforms-taskforce.dopt.gov.in.

For those who wish to share their views through other channels, the government has also provided a toll-free number, 1800-180-4747, and an official email address, ExamReformsTaskforce@dopt.gov.in.

The government has stated that suggestions can be submitted in English, Hindi or any regional language, allowing citizens from different parts of the country to participate in the consultation in the language they are most comfortable with.

The public consultation is open to everyone, including students who appear for public and competitive examinations, parents, teachers, education professionals and other citizens who wish to contribute ideas on improving the examination system.

The initiative seeks public participation in discussions surrounding reforms in public examinations and provides citizens with multiple channels to communicate their concerns, experiences and recommendations to the High-Powered Task Force.

The last date for submitting suggestions is September 13, 2026. Citizens have been encouraged to participate before the deadline and share the consultation details with others so that a wider range of views can be considered.
