IndiGo Medina–Hyderabad Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Ahmedabad After Bomb Threat

An IndiGo flight operating from Medina to Hyderabad was forced to make an emergency landing at Ahmedabad airport on Thursday after a bomb threat raised alarm onboard. The aircraft landed safely at around 11:30 am with nearly 180 passengers on board.

According to officials, the situation unfolded when a passenger claimed he was carrying a bomb. The cabin crew immediately informed the pilot, who alerted air traffic control and diverted the aircraft to Ahmedabad as a precaution.

After landing, security agencies began comprehensive checks of the aircraft and baggage. As of now, no suspicious object has been recovered. The passenger responsible for the bomb claim has been detained and is being interrogated by police.
